9- Her mise en scene

Setting:
This photo is set in a city, presumably quite a large city due to the size of the buildings seen in the background. Also because of the fact that there are many people in the background walking the streets showing that there is a large population. The man centred in the middle of the screen is clearly the character of focus in this scene.
Lighting:
The level of light in this picture is quite low, showing that it is either early in the day or late at night. The low levels of light may imply that the man in the focus of this scene is sad or anxious, which is also shown by his body language….
Figure expression:
The character in this scene is shown folding his arms and looking down towards the floor, this implies that he is sad or maybe upset or vulnerable , due to the fact that he is trying to avoid eye contact and making his body as small as possible. Also, the people in the rest of the scene in the background are either in pairs or relationships or on their phone so are shown as having something to do or look at. This amplifies that fact that he may feel lonely or that he is jealous of others around him.
Costume:
The main character in this scene is wearing a bright red jacket which is instantly seen when you look at the picture. This makes the man stand out as the jacket is so bright and in the middle of the screen, also because the rest of the people in the scene are wearing rather dull and mundane colours, further making him stand out from the crowd.

Ferris beuller's day off is an 80s teenage comedy in which the main character, a confident, sly and clever high schooler does everything he can to ensure that he doesn't get caught while skipping school. On this day that he is not at school him, his girlfriend Sloane and best friend Cameron take a trip to Chicago which has its ups and downs. In one scene, because the miles on Cameron's dads Ferrari have been changed, Cameron goes "berserk", screams and pretends to go into a mental state. We then see Ferris and Sloane trying to wake him from this state while sitting in a pool and having him sit poolside. When Cameron slumps himself into the water, Ferris throws himself after him and brings him to the surface where Cameron wakes up and states that he was fine and was joking about being mad. 21- casting and charactors

WORKING FROM A SCRIPT : CASTING AND CHARACTERS There are only two characters in the scene that we are working on, they are Lucy Pevensie and Mr Tumnus. Lucy :  She is the youngest of the four Pevensie children, is the most level headed and wise, while also maintaining her child-like qualities. She is very trusting and immediately knows that Mr Tumnus is a good, reliable friend even though he admits that he was going to kidnap her. In this specific scene we particularly see her vulnerability and naivety as at only 8 years old she wonders off into a different world without fears or worries that a lot of other children would experience at her age. In the short scene that we look at, we get to see her bravery and curiosity as she discovers Narnia and greets Mr Tumnus. Mr Tumnus : He is the first Narnian Lucy meets is Mr Tumnus who is a faun, which means he is half-man above his waist with curly, dark hair, a small beard and reddish skin, and half-goat below his waist, with h...
